Be prepared to serve seconds of this coffee that is almost a dessert in itself. Basically, it is coffee married with chocolate melted from the hot beverage and garnished with a topping of whipped cream. Put a square of plain, dark, milk-sweet chocolate candy bar in the bottom of each cappuccino mug. Add 1 to 2 T. of brandy, coffee, orange or licorice liqueur if desired. Pour in steaming hot strong (or espresso) coffee. Float a heaping T. of whipped cream on top. Serve at once with a cinnamon stick for swirling and stirring. For added pleasure, top coffee with flavored whipped cream. Beat 1/2 cup chilled whipped cream, 1/8 t. ground cinnamon a few gratings of fresh nutmeg and 1 T. powdered sugar. Beat until stiff for enough whipped topping for 6 to 8 servings. Source: My Old Recipes
