- 2 c. long grain rice
- 1/2 med. Onion, chopped
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- Add salt to taste
- 1/4 c. olive oil
[edit] Directions
- In a deep saucepan, saute vegetables in oil; add garlic and salt.
- Then add 2 cups rice and 2 cups water.
- Cover rice and set setting on medium high, leave it for 14 minutes and never open until 14 minutes are up.
- Then open rice and stir only once.
- Cover rice and set on low for 15 minutes.
