  1. Cream butter and Sugar.
  2. Beat egg yolks one by one into creamed Sugar and butter.
  3. Add the flour, salt and milk alternately to the batter, mixing well after every addition.
  4. Add vanilla extract.
  5. Fold in stiffly beaten whites and bake one hour in deep bowl at 180 °C.
  6. Serve with strawberry sauce of your choice.
