Black Jack Barbecue Sauce

4 to 6 fresh jalapeño chili peppers 4 medium onions, chopped 1 cup catsup 1 cup strong coffee 2/3 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup vinegar 3 T. chili powder 6 clove garlic, sliced 2 t. salt

Wearing plastic bags on your hands, halve chili pepper; remove and discard seeds. Chop chili pepper ( you should have 1/4 cup). Combine chili peppers and remaining ingredients in a 2 quart pan. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 25 minutes. Cool mixture slightly. Blend or process the mixture, half at a time, in a blender container or food processor bowl until nearly smooth. Cool. For giving as a gift, transfer sauce for four 1 cup jars with tight fitting lids. Store in refrigerator. makes 4 cups, or 4 gifts. Source:Unknown
