- 1 c butter, Unsalted; Room Temp
- 1 c sugar
- 2 lg eggs
- 1 c almond Filling; Canned
- 1/4 c milk
- 3 c all-purpose flour
- 1/2 ts baking soda
- 1/4 ts salt
- 1/4 c almonds; Slice/Blanch
Heat Oven to 350 Degrees. in a Mixing Bowl, Cream Together butter AndSugar Until Smooth. Add eggs And Blend. Add almond Filling And milk AndBlend Again. in a Separate Bowl, Mix Together flour, baking soda, Add SaltAnd Add to The Creamed Mixture. Scoop 2 Rounded Tablespoons of Dough AndRoll Together to Form Each Cookie.
Drop Dough Onto Lightly Greased Cookie Sheets, Spacing The Cookies 2Inches Apart. Press sliced almonds Onto Tops. Bake Until Cookies AreLightly Golden And Firm to The Touch, About 15 Minutes. Using a Spatula,Transfer Cookies to a Rack And Let Cool.
