- Combine flour and salt.
- Stir in beer and mix well to make a batter.
- Heat oil to 375°F.
- Dip shrimp in batter, allow excess to drip off.
- Fry small batches of shrimp in oil for 1 – 2 minutes, until golden.
- Drain on a rack and blot with paper towels.
- Serve hot.
