Batas a Portuguesa - Portuguese Fried Potatoes

The secret here is the potatoes are fried in Olive oil.

  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1/4 c olive oil
  • 750 g potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4" thick rounds (or like french fries)
  • 1/2 Level teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Level tablespoon finely
  • chopped Parsley

[edit] Directions

  1. in a pan heat butter and oil. fry potatoes on both sides until golden brown.
  2. season potatoes with salt and pepper, transfer to a heated plater and serve immediately sprinkle with Parsley.
