Ingredients Edit

  • 1 or 2onions
  • 1/4 lb.lean diced Bacon
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled and seeded and diced
  • 2 c.watercress
  • 2 c.water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions Edit

  1. Slice onions very thin and sauté them in butter or oil with tomatoes and Bacon.
  2. Wash, dry and strip leaves of watercress and add into pan.
  3. When the watercress is wilted, add water, salt and pepper and allow to simmer 15 minutes.
