  • Makes 8 servings of banana napoleons.

  1. Heat oven to 400 °F.
  2. Unfold pastry.
  3. Cut in 12 equal rectangles.
  4. Place on ungreased baking sheet, prick tops all over with a fork.
  5. Bake 12 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Cool on sheet.
  7. Cut to split each rectangle into two layers.
  8. Put 1 layer on each of 8 dessert plates.
  9. Slice bananas into a bowl, toss with ½ cup caramel sauce.
  10. Spoon ½ of the mixture onto pastry on plates.
  11. Repeat layers.
  12. Add another pastry, cut side down.
  13. Brush with rest of sauce, top with remaining bananas.
