  1. Peel bananas-cut lengthwise is slices ad each slice in half.
  2. Squeeze lime juice over bananas (drain).
  3. Beat egg yolks until thick and light.
  4. Add flour and salt.
  5. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry and fold into mixture.
  6. Heat deep pot.
  7. Add fat about 1" in pot.
  8. Put bananas slices in butter.
  9. Add coated bananas slices to hot fat.
  10. Turn once if necessary.
  11. Cook until brown on both sides.
  12. Drain on paper towels.
  13. Use as a snack.
