Baked Kippered Herring
Try an adventurous English breakfast and make this dish.
1 lb kippered herring
Juice of 1 lemon
2 T butter, melted
Freshly ground pepper to taste
1 T chopped parsley
4 lemon slices
Preheat the oven to 350� . Put the herring in a baking dish and pour the lemon juice and butter over them. Grind pepper on top and heat in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
