A food topping that is made from authentic pork and produced as small chips, pieces, or granular bits of bacon. Bacon bits may also be a soy-based product having a crispy textured bacon appearance and flavor. In addition to the bacon flavor, the bits are manufactured in a variety of other flavors, such as beef, chicken, pepperoni, taco and ham, which are used to complement snacks, salads, soups, sauces, potato dishes, pizzas, and other similar foods.
