• 2 1/2 cups Cheddar Cheese, grated
• 1 1/2 cups chopped ripe olives
• 2 8 oz loaves party rye bread
• butter or margarine, to cover Rye slices
• 3/4 cup green onions, chopped

Take party Rye slices and butter each slice. Put the slices on a cookie sheet and toast lightly under broiler. Mix the other ingredients in a bowl till well blended. Spread thsi mixture over the toasted bread. Place it under broiler for 2 and 1/2 minutes which should be about inches away from heat.

Yield: 48 servings
