  1. In a 1-quart bowl, blend lemon juice, white wine, curry powder, and mace.
  2. Add mayonnaise.
  3. Mix in crabmeat or lobster meat, and shrimp, cleaned and deveined.
  4. Marinate the seafood slightly with a little of the dressing immediately before serving.
  5. Use only enough dressing to blend.
  6. Arrange lettuce leaves to form cups on plates.
  7. Place avocado halves, peeled, in center of cup.
  8. Fill lightly with seafood blended with dressing.
  9. Arrange grapefruit sections at side of plate.
  10. Place 1 strip of pimento across grapefruit.
  11. Place 2 sprigs chicory, one at each end of grapefruit.
  12. Top with 1 black olive.
  13. Garnish with ½ hard boiled egg.
  14. Top with: 3 or 4 capers and 2 carrot curls, one at each side.
