  1. Pare, core and slice apples to measure 4 cups; reserve 8 or 9 slices.
  2. Toss remaining apples with sugar and dry milk; turn into 1½ quart baking dish.
  3. Arrange reserved slices on top.
  4. Cover with foil; bake at 375 °F for 15 minutes.
  5. Combine remaining ingredients except sour cream or yogurt; mix well.
  6. Uncover apples and sprinkle with oat mixture.
  7. Bake, uncovered, 18 – 20 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm topped with sour cream or yogurt.
