  1. In small mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, confectioner's sugar, and vanilla. Beat with a hand mixer. Pour sundae sauce over the top of mixture.
  2. Toast desired amount of pecans on a baking pan in the oven. Chop and sprinkle on top of the dip.
  3. Serve with slices of fresh apple. Reserve the remaining fruit-based dip in the refrigerator.
