1/4 cup olive oil 1 tbsp vegetable oil 20 trimmed and separated wings Dash of salt and pepper 1 small onion, diced 1 shallot, diced 7 cloves garlic, chopped 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1/2 lemon 2 tbsp chopped parsley dash hot sauce
In large, heavy skillet, heat oils over high heat. Add wings, sprinkling with salt and pepper to seal in their flavor. Fry until the wings are brown and cooked through. Add the onion and shallot. Brown. Add the garlic; cook until softened. Add garlic and onion powders and the salt and pepper. Toss everything together; turn off the heat. Transfer the wings to a large mixing bowl and squeeze lemon juice over them. Add parsley and hot sauce. Toss, making sure the wings are thoroughly coated. Serve immediately
